Mel Moore’s Driving School offers manual transmission driving lessons for students of all ages. Our goal is to make learning to drive a stick shift as easy and comfortable as possible. We achieve that by calmly guiding you through each and every lesson while working with you at your own pace.

Regardless of the car you want to drive once you get your licence, as long as it’s a manual, our friendly and experienced driving instructors are trained to make sure that you are equipped with the skills you need to drive a stick shift safely and confidently.


If you have special needs or a disability, our professional driving instructors can tailor their lessons just for you so that you can learn to drive a manual in a caring and welcoming environment.

*Lessons are $100 for one hour of instruction, $485 for five hours of instruction.

Any lessons cancelled within 24hrs of the booking time may encounter a cancellation fee (cancellation fee is the full cost of the lesson).

Your safety is our number one priority. Our reliable manual cars are fitted with dual controls for maximum safety so that you know you are safe when you venture out onto the streets of Shellharbour. Moreover, all of our cars are subject to regular safety checks and servicing to keep them in top condition.
